Joyful Offering From Infosys! Workers Will Get November’s Average Variable Pay of 80%

The IT giant will get an 80 percent average variable compensation for the July–September 2023 quarter (Q2 FY24), which is a good development for Infosys personnel. This dividend is more than the 60% that was received in the April 2023 quarter and the 70% that was paid in the June 2022 quarter, according to ET reports.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-282699″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-joyful-offering-from-infosys-workers-will-get-novembers-average-variable-pay-of-80-750×500.jpg” alt=”theindiaprint.com joyful offering from infosys workers will get novembers average variable pay of 80″ width=”1394″ height=”929″ title=”Joyful Offering From Infosys!
The September 2023 average variable pay is the same as it was for the June 2023 quarter. The variable compensation will be distributed in the November 2023 payment and is contingent upon each employee’s performance and contributions for the quarter.

An internal statement was used to educate staff members of this information. It said, “This is to keep you all informed that the quarterly performance bonus payout for Q2FY2024 will happen in November 2023 payroll for all eligible employees.”

Employees below position level 6 (PL6) are eligible for the 80 percent average variable pay. The allocation of payments for each unit has been left to the discretion of the unit delivery managers; eligible workers will shortly receive individual payout notifications.

Apart from the encouraging developments about variable compensation, Infosys CFO Nilanjan Roy said in October that the company will commence salary increases on November 1.

The move follows Infosys’ 2022–2023 temporary suspension of pay increases in order to save money. At Infosys, the yearly assessment cycle lasts from October to September of the subsequent fiscal year. Employee ratings are made public by January, and letters requesting pay increases are sent out in June.

Infosys recorded a 3.2% rise in net profit for the second quarter that ended in September 2023, coming in at Rs 6,212 crore as opposed to Rs 6,021 crore the year before.

From July to September of 2023, revenue increased by 6.7% to Rs 38,994 crore from Rs 36,538 crore during the same time the previous year. In the September 2023 quarter, sales climbed by 2.8 percent and net profit improved by 4.5 percent on a quarterly basis.
