Real Madrid continued their incredible run in the Champions League Group Stage by defeating Braga 3-0 in the group stage to guarantee a spot in the Round of 16.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-275730″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-real-madrid-and-real-sociedad-advance-to-the-round-of-16-of-the-champions-league-d.jpg” alt=”theindiaprint.com real madrid and real sociedad advance to the round of 16 of the champions league d” width=”926″ height=”1021″ title=”Real Madrid and Real Sociedad advance to the Round of 16 of the Champions League 9″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-real-madrid-and-real-sociedad-advance-to-the-round-of-16-of-the-champions-league-d.jpg 214w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/theindiaprint.com-real-madrid-and-real-sociedad-advance-to-the-round-of-16-of-the-champions-league-d-150×165.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 926px) 100vw, 926px” />

Real Madrid defeats Braga 3-0 thanks to goals from Vini Jr., Rodrygo, and Brahim to secure a spot in the next round on Wednesday night.

Brahim gave the side the lead in the first half with a powerful finish after a feed from Rodrygo, and the other two goals came in an incredible second half.

With 58 seconds remaining, Vini Jr. increased the advantage, and three minutes later, Rodrygo made it three with a brilliant chip.

To take first place in group C, Real Madrid simply needs a point against Napoli the next game.

Since their initial participation in this format during the 1995–96 season, Real Madrid has never failed to advance to the knockout stages.

They are the only side in the competition’s history to have qualified from every one of the 32 group stage campaigns they have participated in.

However, Real Sociedad emerged victorious from a thrilling Group D match against Benfica (3-1) to guarantee their spot in the knockout rounds and to win Group D for the third time in a row.

Sociedad scored three goals in the first twenty-one minutes of play. Merino took advantage of an inadvertent pass from Aihen to score the opening goal. Oyarzabal outperformed Otamendi to score the second goal. Barrene’s third goal, a cut and a ball into the upper corner, was a work of art.

A handball by Merino resulted in a goal being disallowed, and Brais struck the post with his penalty kick. With the exception of a brilliant stop by Remiro, Benfica presented little danger.

Rafa Silva’s goal for Benfica early in the second half reduced the difference. Although the visitors performed better than they had in the first half, they were unable to beat Real Madrid, who remained resilient and kept creating opportunities.

Barrene missed another cross and Zubimendi missed a volley as he attempted to increase the lead.
